This Week I decided to start modelling based on the results provided by our user quiz. One of the animals a user would like to see was a cat. Personally, I thought a cat would be a good start. It's a simple enough shape to get used to the different tools blender has to offer.
This was the 2nd model created. I felt significantly more confident in the software and I was able to improve my modelling skills slightly.
Learning how to add images onto our models was essential for our progress. Knowing how to target specific areas of the model would help us with placing faces on models for the editor. The video I used was 4 years old, luckily I got through it with little to no trouble with finding certain functions.
Currently, our prototype has two different models. The cat and the shark. These models can change colour and be rotated around. For further development we want to fix some sizing issues on the screen when the models first load. We also want to add more animals, create and overall theme, as well as give them animals clothing and items.
